Our historic farmhouse is complimented by high-speed wifi in all private and common areas and a downstairs media room for presentations and screenings. Meetings can be held indoors or out, and our huge deck can support a variety of table arrangements. The expansive lawn is ideal for a variety of uses, including wellness activities, meditation and workshops. We can offer parking for up to 25 vehicles.
Our farmhouse is the perfect canvas for your event. With bright, neutral rooms, warm wood details and no distracting elements, you have the freedom to completely transform and customize the space for whatever your vision and colour palette is.

Elopements & Micro Weddings
Marmora Retreat is the perfect backdrop to your outdoor elopements, intimate ceremonies and boutique celebrations. The property is perfectly situated for a water’s-edge ceremony and al fresco dinners under the starry night sky.

We can host up to 40 guests for functions and events. The farmhouse itself sleeps up to 22 guests. The waterside bunkie sleeps up to 3 guests. The dome sleeps up to 4 guests.

We love our local community and want to continue to build strong relationships with our neighbours. We are strict when it comes to noise levels and there is no music past 10pm and do not allow PA systems, DJs or large speakers. Reasonable and respectable noise volume is allowed. We have audio and video on the outside of the property to monitor noise levels.

We can arrange for any outside set up to take place a several hours before your check-in date. This will need to be coordinated ahead of time. Same applies for take-down procedure. Depending on bookings, take-down can happen up to 24 hrs after your event. Check with us to coordinate set up and take down logistics.

Cleaning services for the property are added to the booking. Additional fees may apply if extra cleaning is required after your departure. We have onsite laundry facility that all our guests are welcome to use

Unfortunately, we do not cater to overnight camping. All guests are to stay in our accommodations provided.

We can comfortably accommodate up to 25 vehicles.

Primary bedroom has a king sized bed;
Lakeview room has a queen;
Barn view has 2 singles and 2 single trundles beds that can roll out from under each single;
Basement bunk room 1 has 2 single over double beds
Basement bunk room 2 has 2 single over double bunk beds;
Basement rec room has a double pull out sofa.
Dome has a 1 queen bed and 1 pull out couch.

We are situated on a small bay off of Crowe River. Crowe Lake is about 2km north up the river.

Great swimming conditions are just a short paddle away. Hop in a watercraft to experience the clear waters of the Crowe River or the expansive sandbar at the mouth of Crowe Lake. Unfortunately because we sit on a small bay we have lily pads surrounding the dock.

Unfortunately we don’t provide this option at the moment.

Yes there is! The lake has fish species such as large/small mouth bass, muskie, pike, walleye, black crappie and perch. Please bring your fishing gear.

We have a large size indoor hot tub that comfortably fits up to 8 guests.

We have a Keurig and a drip coffee machine (and filters). Please bring your own coffee.

Yes, we have a fully stocked kitchen. We provide basic condiments but encourage our guests to bring their own favourite herbs and spices.
