For corporate retreats, our farmhouse can sleep up to 15 guests (no bed sharing). For other events, our farmhouse can sleep up to 24 guests (with bed sharing). 

For weddings, family reunions, or other private events, our property can comfortably accommodate 40-100 guests. Just note that up to 24 vehicles can be parked on the property.

In the farmhouse:

• The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed

• The Lakeview room has a queen-sized bed

• The Barn View room has 2 single beds and 2 single trundle beds that can roll out from under each one

• One basement bunk room has 2 single over double beds

• The other basement bunk room has 2 single over double bunk beds

Our Sky-View Glamping Domes has

• 1 queen bed and 1 pull-out couch each

Our two Boho-Luxe Glamping Domes, Twilight & MoonBeam each have

• 1 king bed

We can arrange for any outside setup to take place several hours before your check-in date. This will need to be coordinated ahead of time. The same applies to the take-down procedure. Depending on bookings, take-down can happen up to 24 hours after your event. When you book your event, we will thoroughly coordinate set-up and take-down logistics with you in further detail.

Our Farmhouse has a fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals during your stay. We provide basic condiments, but recommend bringing your favourite herbs and spices. The kitchen also includes a Keurig and drip coffee maker; please bring your own coffee, Keurig pods and filters.

Our Sky-View Dome has a simple kitchenette with the essentials for a glamping stay and light meal preparation.

Our Boho-Luxe Domes feature a modern, thoughtfully equipped kitchenette with a mini fridge/freezer, hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, blender, cookware and utensils. Pantry basics such as spices, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar are provided. For coffee and tea, you'll find a French press with coffee grounds, a Keurig with pods, an electric kettle, tea and sugar.

For wedding events, we recommend booking well in advance to ensure nothing is overlooked. Make sure to look through our wedding packages, where all information is provided, including noise policy, deposits, add-ons, our vendor recommendations, and more.

We are located on a small bay off the Crowe River. Because we sit on a small bay of water, swimming off the dock is not recommended because of the large lily pads; however, you can hop in a kayak or canoe and paddle to a more easily accessible swimming spot. Fishing is also popular, with large/small-mouth bass, muskie, pike, walleye, black crappie and perch being frequently caught.

Lake access available only to Farmhouse guests.

Absolutely, pets are permitted in both the farmhouse and glamping domes, but there is a $25 fee per pet. They must remain on leash near our alpacas and horses. If they cause any damage, additional fees will be applied.

We want to make your stay as fun and enjoyable as possible, which is why we have options such as cedar saunas, and cold plunge tubs to promote detox and muscle recovery, alpaca walks and feeding for guests of all ages.

Amenities vary by accommodation:

Farmhouse: Guests have access to our outdoor pool, available seasonally from roughly June to September, weather permitting. The pool is unheated and used at guests’ own risk. The Farmhouse also has access to our 8-person indoor Nordic hot tub during the colder months, from September to June.

Sky-View Dome: The Sky-View Dome has its own private hot tub for guests to enjoy.

Boho-Luxe Domes: Each Boho-Luxe Dome features a private copper soaking tub, perfect for a relaxing nature bath. Please note that these are soaking tubs with hot water, not hot tubs.

Glamping guests do not have access to the Farmhouse pool.

Marmora Retreat is a self-catered property and does not offer on-site food service.

Our Farmhouse has a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing group meals, while our glamping domes offer kitchenette facilities for preparing meals and snacks during your stay. Kitchen amenities vary by dome.

For groups, retreats and special events, we can also connect you with local catering partners offering a range of options, from casual group meals and barbecues to more elevated dining experiences.

If you’d prefer to dine out, several restaurants are just a short drive away in Marmora, including Theo’s Pizzeria, Tap & Tonic, and Miner’s Restaurant.

Yes! Each of our accommodations — the Farmhouse, Sky-View Dome and Boho-Luxe Domes — has its own dedicated outdoor fire pit, perfect for cozy evenings and making s’mores.

The Farmhouse and Sky-View Dome also features an indoor fireplace, creating a warm and comfortable gathering space during the colder months.
